Blood Grouping
ABO Grouping Reagents
Our monoclonal ABO antisera are produced using in-vitro cell culture of mouse hybridoma cell lines. This ensures constant specificity and the reagents are free of unwanted anti-T.
Due to the non-human origin, there is no risk of infection for HIV or Hepatitis.
For Anti-A Mono-TypeŽ two clones are used and for Anti-B Mono-TypeŽ, one clone is used. Anti-A,B-Mono-TypeŽ is composed of 3 monoclonal antibodies where, however, not just anti-A and anti-B antibodies are blended but where true anti-AB antibodies are blended in order to assure optimal reactivity.
For the determination of the A subgroups Lectin-A1 is available, which is extracted out of Dolichos biflorus. Anti-H Lectin, which is prepared out of Ulex europaeus, is used for the detection of secretor characteristics in saliva and can be used for the determination of the H antigen on the red cell surface.

It's what you don't do that makes the difference, one drop of sample for 10 tests, no centrifugation and ready to read within 5 minutes.
Results are stable and include validation and control spots for instant confirmation of test integrity.
