Storage & Collection plates
Porvair Sciences has developed a number of storage/ collection plates to help in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology, drug discovery, combinatorial, screening and genomics.
The plates are manufactured under clean room conditions and a significant number are DNase/ RNase free. They are mainly made from polypropylene, an inert material giving heat and solvent resistant qualities. Porvair Sciences offers the largest range of well shape/number of wells and well volume, on the market.
Each is made to the SBS/ANSI format for compatibility with most readers/ washers and automated equipment.
96 Round Well Plates
Porvair Sciences offers 3 types of plates that have a maximum well capacity of 350µl.
The 3 types are flat, round and V bottom and these can be used for compound storage, screening and culturing.
Deep Well 96 Round
The plates are manufactured in both Polystyrene and Polypropylene to give a choice of materials that suit the application.
Working volume is 1ml per well and total volume is 1.1ml.
Deep Well 96 Square
The family of 96 square well plates was designed so that it would make the interchange of plates simpler in automated systems.
All three plates have the same geometry and the only variable is the well depth. The plates are availables with working volumes of 350µl, 1ml or 2ml.
384 Well Plate
Porvair Sciences have a selection of 384 polypropylene plates to suit most applications. All of them are made from pretested polypropylene in class 100,000 clean rooms.
The plates are availables with working volumes of 25µl, 120µl or 300µl.
Large Volume Plates
The range of large volume plates are designed to meet special requirements.
Focused on the combinatorial, environmental and food technology markets, it allows large volumes of samples to be transported in a recognised microplate format to allow greater automation.
The plates are availables in 24well/10ml ; 48 well/5ml ; 48well/7.5ml ; 48well/10ml ; 96well/4ml.
