Xtr-1 high-speed single tube reader



A compact, high-speed single tube reader unit designed for benchtop 2D tube code reading.
Compatible with all 96 (8x12) format tube variants and larger capacity tubes such as glass compound storage tubes, cryo-vials and biological sample tubes.
The Xtr-1 is the perfect reader for decoding single tubes. Tube data can be sent to any application and can be linked to a spreadsheet or database. The tube ID is instantly displayed on your computer screen for identification, or for sample data entry.
Despite its simplicity the Xtr-1 uses exactly the same decoding engine as all readers in the Xtr range ensuring that decoding reliability is not compromised.

Xtr-1 Elite single tube reader



The easiest to use single tube 2D code reader available. Simply plug into the USB port and it will be ready to read tubes within 5 seconds!
No software installation or CPU usage. This single tube reader can be used with old, or low specification, PCs and is compatible with all versions of Windows operating systems.
Compatible with all 2D barcoded tubes, including cryovials.
No reconfiguration required.
Tube data can be entered into any application. The Xtr-1elite will send the decoded tube ID to any open application (where the cursor is placed).

Xtr-96Lite entry level whole rack reader



Entry level whole rack tube reader unit designed for benchtop 2D tube code reading. Compatible with all 96 (8x12) format tube variants.
The Xtr-96lite hardware is based on standard HP scanner proving a robust but economical entry into whole rack reading of 2D tubes. The A4 format scanner provides the ability to read a complete rack of 96 tubes at once, taking just 20 seconds to complete the scan and de-code.
The scanner is combined with the same decoding software as other readers in the Xtr range providing functionality to enable you to view results directly or integrate with other applications.

Xtr-96LE single rack reader



The Xtr-96LE is a whole rack tube reader unit for racks of 96 2D-coded tubes with a small footprint to save precious benchtop space.
Based on a super-fast A5 high definition scanner which takes just 2 seconds to scan a complete rack of 96 tubes.
Combined with rapid decoding the Xtr-96LE has a total scan and decode time of under 8 seconds for all 96 tubes.

Compatible with all 2D barcoded tubes including ones from all major manufacturers in 24, 48, 96 and 384 rack formats, together with larger capacity tubes such as glass compound storage tubes, cryo vials and biological sample tubes.
6 second total scan and decode time for rack of 96 tubes. No warm-up time required.
The Xtr-96 software is able to discriminate between a tube with a barcode that cannot be decoded and a rack position with no tube. The system will not attempt to decode empty tube positions and data files are kept “clean” as wasted data entry is avoided, leading to faster rack reading. Available with linear barcode reader

Quick warm-up time. Able to discriminate between a tube with a barcode that cannot be decoded and a rack position with no tube. The system will not attempt to decode empty tube positions and data files are kept “clean” as wasted data entry is avoided, leading to faster rack reading.
When activated the system will decode a single tube within 8 seconds and display ID on screen, the ID can be copied to any application with a single click. Also available with linear barcode reader.

Xtr-96/384pro 96 and 384 format CCD camera reader



High speed whole rack reader, ideal for robotic integration. Compatible with 96-format racked 2D-coded tubes including those supplied by all major manufacturers. 4 seconds total scan and decode time. 8 CCD cameras enable a near instant read.
Direct data output to Excel.
Automatic rack read and orientation. Simply place the rack on the reader and the Xtr-96pro will read automatically using in-built sensors to determine rack placement.
The Xtr-96pro is suitable for use at low temperatures (-20oC).

POLYPROPYLENE 0.75ml AND 1.4ml EASYTRACK TUBES.
Designed for liquid (or solid) sample storage. 2D-coded on the bottom to provide easy, clear sample identification. Ideal for high throughput screening applications.

POLYPROPYLENE 0.5ml, 1.1ml and 1.4ml SCREWTOP TUBES.
In addition to the standard polypropylene tube features above, ScrewTop Tubes also possess a low temperature resistant silicon ring. The polypropylene used is ideal for long term sample storage at ultra-low temperature. (Temperature range -180°C to +100°C).

Xtt-96 thawing station



The Xtt-96 microtube thawing station is a stand alone instrument designed to reduce the defrost time of chilled microtubes.
The contents are defrosted by forcing air, at room temperature, over the frozen microtubes. The risk of damage to the contents caused by raised temperatures is minimised as direct heat is not applied.
This compact design is able to defrost a rack of up to 96 tubes at one time, simply place on the top plate.
A typical frozen sample of DI water takes approximately 20 minutes to defrost to an ambient temperature of 20°C.
