DiaSys respons®UDS100 Urine Analyzer
The respons®UDS100 is a high-performance reflectance photometer designed to standardize urine strip analysis. By automating the reading and interpretation of results, the system eliminates the subjectivity of manual visual checks. It operates as part of a harmonized system alongside UDStrip-12 test strips and TruLab UriDrop controls to ensure accuracy in both routine screenings and specialized kidney function assessments.

Advanced Detection with UDStrip-12
The system’s performance is anchored by the UDStrip-12, which combines standard parameters with the Albumin-to-Creatinine Ratio (ACR) in a single run. This enables early detection of chronic kidney disease (CKD) as recommended by KDIGO guidelines. The strips also feature integrated ascorbic acid protection to prevent interference from Vitamin C, ensuring reliable results even in complex samples.
- 120 tests/hour in Fast Mode
- Automated ACR calculation for kidney health
- Integrated Ascorbic Acid protection
- Compact footprint with 3.5” touchscreen
- Seamless LIS and HL7 connectivity

Simple Workflow
Efficient Urine Testing in 4 Steps
1. Sample Dipping
Briefly dip the test strip into the urine sample for approximately 2 seconds. Ensure all reagent pads are fully wetted before immediate removal.
2. Remove Excess
Drag the edge of the strip against the rim of the sample container to clear excess liquid, ensuring pads do not overlap with residual urine.
3. Blotting
Gently touch the edge of the test strip to a clean paper towel to blot any remaining droplets, preparing the strip for precise optical measurement.
4. Automated Start
Place the strip in the tray channel facing upward. The respons®UDS100 automatically detects the strip, manages incubation, and initiates the measurement cycle.
