Micro Shot MS-706: High-Precision Nanotiter Dispenser
The Micro Shot MS-706 is a high-precision nanotiter dispensing system designed for high-throughput screening and assay development. Utilizing a unique electromagnetic micro-valve technology, it delivers reagents with exceptional speed and accuracy across a wide dynamic range.
Engineered for versatility, the MS-706 supports 96, 384, and 1536-well microplates. Its non-contact dispensing method eliminates the need for tip replacements, significantly reducing running costs and preventing cross-contamination. The system is ideal for applications requiring low-volume reagent handling, including drug discovery, genomics, and proteomics.
Key Benefits:
- High Speed: Dispenses 1 µL into a 1536-well plate in approximately 13 seconds.
- Wide Dynamic Range: Capable of dispensing volumes from 20 nL to 500 µL with high linearity.
- Cost Efficiency: Tip-less design reduces consumable waste and operational expenses.
Minimal Dead Volume: Optimized flow path ensures maximum reagent recovery.

Performance Metrics
Rapid Throughput
Dispense 1 µL into a 1536-well plate in just 13 seconds, accelerating screening workflows.
Precision Control
Achieves CV < 5% at 50 nL, ensuring reliable data for low-volume assays.
Zero Cross-Contamination

Technology
Flying Inkjet Dispensing Technology
The MS-706 employs a proprietary electromagnetic micro-valve system often referred to as "Flying Inkjet" technology. By precisely controlling the valve opening time, the system generates droplets as small as 10-20 nL.
This method allows for independent control of all 8 channels, enabling complex dispensing patterns and gradients. The absence of physical contact between the nozzle and the plate surface ensures sterility and sample integrity.
