PCRBIO Ultra Polymerase & Mixes

Engineered DNA polymerase and master mixes for the amplification of complex and challenging templates.
PCR BioSystems PCR & qPCR

PCRBIO Ultra Polymerase is developed for reliable amplification from highly demanding templates. Through a combination of processivity-enhancing modifications and specialized buffer biochemistry, this system overcomes structural difficulties such as extreme GC or AT ratios and low-copy targets. The formulation features an antibody-mediated hot start mechanism to prevent non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation at ambient temperatures.

The enzyme provides a 3-fold increase in fidelity compared to standard Taq polymerase and yields A-tailed amplicons suitable for direct TA cloning. It is available as a standalone enzyme with an optimized buffer or as a ready-to-use 2x mix with or without an integrated red electrophoresis tracking dye.

PCRBIO Ultra Polymerase (Standalone Enzyme)

A flexible standalone kit containing the engineered high-fidelity polymerase and a separate 5x optimized buffer system. Ideal for users requiring custom reaction optimization, adjustable magnesium concentrations, or specialized assay development.

PCRBIO Ultra Mix (2x Ready Mix)

A ready-to-use, clear 2x master mix containing all necessary reaction components except primers and template. Formulated to increase high-throughput laboratory efficiency, maximize reproducibility, and minimize pipetting steps.

PCRBIO Ultra Mix Red (Direct Gel Loading)

A convenient 2x master mix pre-blended with an inert red tracking dye and gel loading agents. Allows researchers to load amplification products directly onto agarose gels post-PCR, eliminating downstream sample preparation steps.

Technical Support & Frequently Asked Questions

Find immediate answers to common workflow questions and application capabilities for our high-fidelity amplification systems.

This engineered system features an integrated modification that delivers three times higher accuracy than conventional Taq enzymes. It also includes an advanced buffer matrix that enables robust processivity when working with challenging templates that exhibit high GC content or complex secondary structures.

The enzyme utilizes an antibody-mediated hot-start technology that blocks polymerase activity at room temperature. Activation only occurs during the initial denaturation step, preventing non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formations during reaction setup.

Yes. The core biochemistry is formulated with elevated tolerance against common reaction inhibitors. This permits successful amplification directly from crude lysates, environmental extractions, or direct colony PCR setups without requiring extensive prior purification.

The polymerase produces amplified DNA fragments containing 3' A-overhangs (A-tailed products). These fragments are fully compatible with standard TA cloning vectors and associated downstream ligation workflows.

The non-reactive red dye allows for direct gel loading post-PCR. During electrophoresis, the dye migrates at a position equivalent to 200–300 base pairs in a 1% agarose gel, and between 50–100 base pairs in a 2% agarose gel.

For extended shelf life, the products should be stored continuously between -30 deg C and -15 deg C. However, the formulation is highly stable and can withstand ambient temperature exposure for up to four weeks or refrigerated storage at 4 deg C for up to one month without loss of performance.
