Verifi Hot Start Polymerase
This A-family DNA polymerase is engineered for maximum fidelity and improved PCR success. The enzyme features 3’ to 5' proofreading activity, providing significantly higher accuracy than standard Taq. The chemically mediated hot-start mechanism prevents non-specific amplification at room temperature, making it ideal for complex templates and low-copy targets.

Innovative AptaLock™ Technology
This proprietary technology uses an aptamer-like molecule to reversibly inhibit both polymerase and exonuclease activities at ambient temperatures. This prevents non-specific amplification and primer dimer formation, enabling room-temperature setup and ensuring high reaction stability for up to 24 hours.

Unlike standard methods that only inhibit polymerase activity, AptaLock™ inhibits both the 3'-5' exonuclease (proofreading) and 5'-3' polymerase activities. This provides double protection against primer degradation and non-specific priming during setup.
A standard extension time of 30 seconds per kb is recommended. For simpler templates or shorter amplicons, users may achieve success with times as low as 10-30 seconds per kb to increase throughput.
Yes. The advanced buffer and enzyme stability allow for denaturation temperatures up to 100°C. For particularly difficult targets, the 10x VeriMax Enhancer can be added to further improve performance on GC-rich templates.
