seqWell MosaiX™ Library Prep Kit

Efficient directional tagmentation from low-input genomic DNA
seqWell NGS Library Prep & Controls

The MosaiX™ DNA Library Prep Kit utilizes proprietary directional tagmentation technology to combine the speed of transposase-based workflows with the library quality typically associated with ligation methods. Powered by the engineered TnX™ transposase, it minimizes insertion-site bias and maximizes the production of functional library molecules.

Engineered Enzyme Technology

The TnX™ Transposase Advantage

Traditional Tn5-based methods often suffer from high insertion bias and non-productive fragments. MosaiX uses TnX™, an engineered transposase evolved for superior activity and reduced sequence-dependent bias. This results in more uniform genome coverage and higher molecular complexity, even when working with challenging samples like FFPE-derived DNA.

High-Complexity WGS Libraries in a Fraction of the Time

The MosaiX™ Revolution

The seqWell MosaiX™ 90-minute workflow represents a significant leap in NGS library preparation by bridging the gap between the speed of tagmentation and the high-quality data typically reserved for ligation-based methods. At its core is the engineered TnX transposase, which has been evolved to drastically reduce the sequence-dependent insertion bias common in traditional Tn5 methods.

The process is remarkably efficient, requiring only 35 minutes of hands-on time. It utilizes a proprietary directional tagmentation chemistry that ensures every tagging event produces a functional, sequencer-ready molecule (with the proper P5 and P7 orientations), effectively doubling the molecular complexity of the library compared to older tagmentation kits. This streamlined approach allows researchers to go from genomic DNA to a PCR-ready library in just 45 minutes, with the entire protocol—including purification and amplification—finishing in an hour and a half.
