Sysmex Partec RP-300 & RP-310 Flow Cytometers
The RP-series analyzers are specialized flow cytometers designed for standardized ploidy level and genome size analysis in plant and animal tissues. These systems deliver accurate results by quantifying nuclear DNA content using optimized fluorescent staining. When integrated with the AL-30 Autoloader, the platforms support high-throughput environments, processing 96 samples in less than 30 minutes.

Advancing Plant Analysis via Flow Cytometry
Quantifying genome size and ploidy levels is a foundational requirement in modern botanical research and commercial plant production. Our flow cytometry solutions provide a robust, high-resolution framework for optimizing breeding cycles and ensuring the genetic integrity of plant materials.
Key Application Areas:
- Seed & Crop Quality Assurance: Rigorous verification of ploidy levels to maintain standards in new variety development and cultivar production.
- Genetic Stability Monitoring: Assessing in vitro cultures and gene bank accessions to confirm long-term genetic consistency.
- High-Throughput Hybrid Screening: Rapid identification of hybrid lines and characterization of diverse field materials for large-scale operations.
- Scientific Taxonomy: Accurate determination of absolute DNA content to support evolutionary studies and genomic mapping.
Aquaculture & Marine Biology
Optimizing Aquatic Breeding Through DNA Analysis
Flow cytometry provides an efficient methodology for monitoring the genetic characteristics of aquatic populations. By analyzing nuclear DNA content, producers and researchers can maintain high standards in hatcheries and commercial farming environments.
How we support the Aquaculture sector:
- Ploidy Identification: Rapidly distinguishing between diploid and triploid states in fish and shellfish, essential for managing growth rates and sterility in commercial stocks.
- Larvae Quality Control: Assessing the genetic makeup of larvae at early developmental stages to ensure the viability of future yields.
- Feed Efficiency Research: Supporting studies that link specific ploidy levels to improved food conversion ratios and environmental resilience.
- High-Throughput Monitoring: Processing large sample volumes from diverse aquatic environments with high precision and minimal carry-over.
